     I hope to learn how different websites and online programs can be utilized as an instruction tool in the classroom. I hope to be an elementary education teacher in the future so the tools I learn in this class will greatly help me in my future classroom. I already am brainstorming on how to use Padlet in instruction and appreciated the examples of different potential lessons. I am excited to learn about more ways to utilize technology in instruction. 

    In an instructional setting, I used a PowerPoint slide to deliver a lesson plan I designed for my Intro to Education course last semester. I also utilized a Kahoot as a test of knowledge at the end of the lesson. In my time I used education as a student, I used TopHat often to take attendance as well as for quizzes. I remember a very engaging lesson in elementary school for me was a coding lesson. We created our own games with a coding software, and it taught us a lot about what we can do. 

    I often learn about baking tips and tricks through Pinterest and TikTok. I also search up recipes on the internet. I find baking tools to purchase on Amazon. I also do yoga, and I find workouts online on YouTube. I also find studios to join on the internet and sign up for classes that way.

    Hi Chloe, I have never heard of TopHat. I will have to check that out. Is the application only used for attendance and quizzes, or for other activities?

      I used design principles such as color blocking and a consistent theme, including similar fonts and text size. I really enjoyed learning how to implement addresses and calendars into websites on weebly as that is something I have never done before. I think that having a classroom website would be very helpful for the classroom community as a teacher. I also think that learning how to make a website is important for any future endeavors such as future career changes.      I have always liked the idea of using QR codes as a check in for students so they can let me know of anything that may be going on that they need to talk about with me. I also think that an interactive scavenger hunt with different writing passages at each QR station could be a fun way to distribute information.     I have learned through this course that I need to be diligent in selecting the material I share with my class and always checking if it is copyrighted. I do not want to instruct my students to not plagiarize and then do it myself. I also learned about some of the different ways to prevent plagiarism in my classroom. I will teach AI in my classroom, but how to use it properly and not to cheat. No technology is inherently bad, it just needs to be taught correctly. I am still nervous about avoiding  copyright, but I feel like teaching them to use the Internet in a positive way would decrease cheating.      Cyberbullying is the act of bullying through the  internet. It can be more harmful and more easy to catch then regular bullying because the bully can be completely anonymous.
